Emma draws from a number of evidence-based therapeutic models to understand the particular needs of each situation and tailor an effective approach to creating positive and stable change. Emma is experienced in working with a wide range of challenges facing individuals, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relational issues, and addiction. In all cases, Emma blends her knowledge of psychological processes with a focus on understanding each individual’s context and meeting their identified needs.

Emma understands the unique difficulties of each client and strives to help individuals build a higher level of insight into themselves and to develop their resilience and coping skills in order to make effective and sustainable changes. In discovering the areas of concerns each client brings to therapy, Emma draws upon several evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness and Solution-focused Therapy which are selected on the client’s specific needs.

Leigh has been working in a clinical setting for the past 10 years across various settings across Victoria. Leigh has also extended experience working with the following companies, Linfox, SunRice, AGS, and Ardagh developing continuous improvement strategies which have helped identify and reduce the risk of workplace injuries. This includes providing proactive management strategies which significantly reduces the number of LTI’s/MTI’s in these businesses. Leigh has extensive experience in providing manual handling training, ergonomic assessment and providing treatment for musculoskeletal injuries and orthopaedic conditions. Leigh specialises in gym-based rehabilitation and hydrotherapy classes with a key focus on improving clients function.

Leigh’s programs are individually designed and include a pain management program, motivating health program, hardening for work program and the healthy lifestyle program. Leigh has partnered with other Allied Health clinics working with an array of conditions including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, stroke, ABI injuries, orthopaedic condition, acute and chronic pain and musculoskeletal injuries.

David Hayler

Psychologist / Senior Consultant

David is a registered Psychologist and he has completed a Bachelor of Psychology, Organisation and Interpersonal Psychology (Honours) and a Masters in Neuropsychology.

David has had extensive experience in neurological assessments, counselling and consultation; he has worked in both clinical and non-clinical settings. David has been able to utilise his clinical expertise in assessing and determining appropriate interventions necessary for assisting individuals with improving their day-to-day cognitive functioning. Through his work with Employment and Disability Employment Services, David has assisted countless clients with successfully regaining a capacity and returning to gainful employment.

Sue Troupakis

Psychologist / Senior Consultant

Sue is a registered Psychologist, who has completed a Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and a  Graduate Diploma in Psychology. Prior to becoming a Psychologist, Sue was a registered midwife.  Sue became a have a Psychologist because of her interest in how people coped when confronted with difficult situations.

Sue uses an integrated approach to therapy, focusing on an understanding of the background to the problem, and using the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) model to promote changes in behaviour and to assist new ways of learning to manage painful thoughts and emotions.

Sue has also completed a certificate in couples counselling from Relationships Australia and enjoys the challenge of negotiating through complex relationship dynamics.

Nick Grant

Osteopath / Senior Consultant

Dr. Nick Grant is a registered Osteopath and he has completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathic Medicine/Osteopathy) and has a Masters in Osteopathy.

Nick’s initial interest in Osteopathy started with his own sporting injuries and he now has a keen interest in treating and rehabilitating sporting injuries. He believes that patients need to take an active role in their injuries, giving exercise and healthy lifestyle advice when appropriate to aid with their recovery.

Mike O’Sullivan

Dietitian/Personal Trainer

Mike is an experienced Dietitian & Personal Trainer who is originally from Ireland. He previously worked as a scientist with biotechnology & pharmaceutical companies, specialising in microbiology. He always had a very strong interest in biology & chemistry and moved into the area of nutrition to assist those wanting to improve their health and lifestyle. He still brings with him an analytical nature in trying to solve peoples’ health concerns but provides this in a relaxed manner. For both his dietetic practice and his personal training services he uses his motivational characteristics to get the best out of his patients and exercise participants. He has a passion for health and fitness and also likes to remain up-to-date with research in both nutrition and exercise sciences.

Particular areas of speciality are Weight LossDiabetes and Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

Other areas of nutrition he works with are:

Malnutrition, Heart Disease, High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol, Osteo Arthritis, PCOS, Metabolic Syndrome, Diverticulitis, Kidney Disease, Fatty Liver, Crohn’s Disease, Food Intolerances, Coeliac Disease, Eating Disorder, Body Composition, Before/After Pregnancy.

Mike can also provide exercise programs and currently runs small group exercise.
